Brooke Frank receives Greater Madison County Federation of Labor scholarship for RTW essay

Brooke Frank of Alton was honored as this year’s second recipient of the Greater Madison County Federation of Labor scholarship award in the 24th annual John A. Broyers/Jack Greer Memorial Scholarship competition. She earned the award of $1,500 with her essay on the effects of so-called “right-to-work” on wages and working conditions. From left are Federation President B. Dean Webb, Brooke and her parents, Cindy and Robert Frank. Robert Frank is a member of IBEW Local 649. Brooke will attend Illinois State University this fall.
