Cub Scouts have been building and racing Pinewood Derby cars since 1953. The annual event is more than just racing, it builds confidence and Scouts can take pride in their own skills and hard work.
But why should Cub Scouts have all of the fun?
The Construction Industry Pinewood Derby, Wednesday, April 16, at the Moto Museum, offers you a chance to have your own day at the races while supporting the Scouts of the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Now in its third year, this annual event, allows adults to experience that same fun and competition. Participants build a car to showcase and race against other construction industry professionals, vendors and clients. Enjoy friendly competition and valuable industry recognition while supporting local youth.
Scott Wilson with S.M. Wilson & Co. is the chairman for the event.
