Faith RallyJefferson City – As the effort to pass right-to-work in Missouri entered its final week (the Legislature adjourned May 15), three dozen faith leaders from around the state visited the Capitol to discuss the moral issue of why right-to-work is a rip-off, not only economically but morally, for Missouri. The faith leaders walked the halls talking to as many legislators as possible. “It was important to get the moral voice of the community to our legislators,” said Rev. Rudy Pulido, the St. Louis Labor Council’s Faith Liaison. “Many legislators were moved by the discussions faith leaders had with them over the morality issue. People are suffering in Missouri. This law will only make things worse.”
