IBEW Local 1 volunteer bartenders donate tips to families of slain Gas Workers

St. Charles – Each year, IBEW Local 1 members volunteer one night at the St. Charles County Fair selling beer at a booth. This year, the volunteers donated all their tips from the night to the families of fallen Brothers from Gas Workers 11-6 – Alex Boschert and William Froelich, two Laclede Gas workers who were shot and killed while on the job April 20 in St. Louis. Laclede Gas has also set up a fund with the United Way of Greater St. Louis to support the Boschert and Froelich families.
