quilt-picMartha Pultar, director of Broadcasting & Telecommunications for the IBEW national office, made two quilts and sold raffle tickets at the IBEW’s recent convention in St. Louis to raise money for a worthy women’s organization.

Working with the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Safe Connections, a United Way agency for domestic abuse and sexual violence was identified as the worthy recipient.

Safe Connections has prevention programs for teens, and works with women and men who are in abusive relationships. The quilt raffles yielded $6,930!
