LIUNA Cars for Cops event to raise money for St. Louis County Police Welfare Association

LIUNA is holding a car show and picnic Saturday, June 24, to raise money for the St. Louis County Police Welfare Association.

The Cars for Cops event is being sponsored by the Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (LECET) and Sunset Ford. The car show will be held at the Laborers’ Local 110 Union Hall, at 4532 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Sunset Hills, and will include live music, a DJ, games and food.

Space is limited to the first 200 vehicle entries, and there are 16 show classifications. Registration is $25 per vehicle, and 20 trophies will be awarded. Admission is free to spectators.

Registration for the car show is from 8 to 11 a.m. People’s Choice voting is from 11 p.m. to 2 p.m. The awards ceremony will be held at 3 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the St. Louis County Police Welfare Association, a non-profit that acts as a support alliance for police and their families in times of need.
