Attention plumber and pipefitter retiree members of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562:
A new Retirees Club is being formed for plumber and pipefitter retirees with an organizational meeting being held Monday, Feb. 20 at the Elks Lodge, 12481 Ladue Rd. at 11:30 a.m. Lunch and drinks will be served.
“We need to get together to renew our fellowship with one another and as importantly, to get help our local and other working families with the incredible problems being faced today by union members, problems we never faced before,” retiree Bill King said.
As an example, he said, the $5 for the Fight campaign to help union brothers and sisters who are hurting is something he thinks retirees would like to get more involved with.
