5th Annual CLUW Women’s History Brunch set for March 19

The St. Louis chapter of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) will host its 5th Annual Women’s History Brunch on Saturday, March 19.

The event, which coincides with Women’s History Month, will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CWA Local 6300 Union Hall at 2258 Grissom Drive in Maryland Heights. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets for the brunch are $30 each or $240 for a table of eight. Masks and social distancing measures will be enforced.

During the brunch, speakers will address the impacts, challenges and uncertainties of COVID-19 pandemic and how women have responded, conquered and remained vigilant in self-care and care of their families.

As always, the event will raise awareness for the support of women in an inclusive, diverse and equitable workplace and community. Speakers will be announced at a later date.

The event marks the 49th year CLUW has been active in the St. Louis Labor Movement. The non-profit organization’s last two women’s history brunch events were cancelled because of the pandemic

Advertising in the program book is available at the following rates: color inside or outside back cover or inside front cover – $325; black-and-white, full-page ad – $175; or black-and-white, half-page ad – $100. The deadline for ad submissions in .jpg or .pdf formats is March 11.
