AFT Local 420 formalizes new contract with St. Louis Public Schools

AFT Local 420, the union representing St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) teachers and support personnel, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding with the district that includes significant raise, protects benefits – including those for substitute teachers – and raises the wage for all workers to a minimum of $15-an-hour.
