Bridgeton, MO – State Rep. Bill Otto (D-Maryland Heights), a longtime friend of working families, discussed his candidacy for the 2nd District Congressional seat in the 2016 elections at a recent meeting of the Greater St. Louis Labor Council Retirees Club.

Otto criticized 2nd District incumbent, U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Ballwin), for being an “absentee” representative who spends her time fundraising for the Republican Party while ignoring public affairs of the district.

Otto said he would be a “hands-on” congressman who will fight for the concerns of the district’s working families.

The 2nd Congressional District covers northwest, west, central and south St. Louis County, south and central St. Charles County, and north Jefferson County.
