Brats, brotherhood, RTW petition signing highlight North County Labor Club picnic

The North County Labor Club rounded up its members and supporters June 5 and joined for their annual picnic, a social event held at St. Ferdinand Park in Florissant.

Hundreds of members and guests came for featured speeches by local politicians and camaraderie among working men and women as well as a chance to sign the petition to place the repeal of Missouri’s so-called “right-to-work” law on the 2018 ballot

North County Labor Club is the oldest labor club in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and is currently having a membership drive.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at the Aerospace Lodge, 212 Utz Lane, in Hazelwood, off Lindbergh Blvd. near Hwy. 270. Executive Board starts at 6 p.m., the regular meeting starts at 7 p.m.

Bring a family member, friend, neighbor or co-worker to the meetings to help support the working families of the the Labor Movement.
