Bread and Roses Missouri is presenting two exciting events this month depicting the struggles of the early U.S. Labor Movement.

THE JOE HILL ROAD SHOW, featuring Nashville’s Shelby Bottom Duo, will be held March 10 at Gaslight Theater.

• The Joe Hill Road Show, featuring Nashville’s Shelby Bottom Duo, will be held Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. at Gaslight Theater, 358 N. Boyle Ave, St. Louis, Mo. 63108. Tickets are $10.
Learn the story of labor activist, songwriter and martyr Joe Hill and the early U.S. Labor Movement through music, spoken word and historical images.

THE 2019 WORKERS OPERA, featuring local workers turned actors, will be held March 11 at Gaslight Theater.

• The 2019 Workers Opera will be held Monday, March 11 at 8 p.m. at Gaslight Theater, 358 N. Boyle Ave, St. Louis, Mo. 63108. Tickets are $10.
The Workers Opera features local workers turned actors “for the day” who give voice to the struggle for living wages and dignity in the workplace through spoken word, dance and song.
