Bricklayers Local 1 banners new Lake St. Louis apartment complex

Lake St. Louis, MO – Bricklayers Local 1 is bannering a new 220-unit, luxury apartment complex under construction here because its developer, Arkansas-based ERC Construction, is using a non-union, out-of-state contractor that pays below the area standard wages and benefits established by Local 1 for brickwork. Synergy at the Meadows, which has undergone three name changes in recent months, is south of The Meadows Shopping Center off Fountain Grass Drive.
