Bricklayers Local 1 picketing Creve Coeur Assisted Living for using a rat contractor

Creve Coeur – Bricklayers Local 1 is picketing Creve Couer Assisted Living and Memory Care, an assisted living and memory care facility under development at 693 Decker Lane for using non-union, out-of-state Biancofiori Masonry, of West Lafayette, IN, to do brickwork at the facility. Delivering the message that Biancofiori Masonry pays substandard wages and benefits to those negotiated by Local 1, is Local 1 Pointer Cleaner Wasim Aziz. Local 1 Business Representative Brian Jennewein extended a special thanks to the trades that have shown support by honoring the picket.
