Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses Jack Martorelli Memorial Golf Tournament is sold out

Sponsorships and party tickets still available

Four-person team entries are sold out for the Budweiser Guns ‘N Hoses Jack Martorelli Memorial Golf Tournament May 24, but you can still support the event by donating, sponsoring or joining the After Golf Party.

Martorelli, a 53-year Operating Engineers Local 513 member, its president/business manager for 12 years and an IUOE International Representative for seven years, was co-founder of the Guns ‘N Hoses annual boxing program founded in 1987 to benefit The BackStoppers, which provides support for families of fallen police and fire fighters in 18 counties in Missouri and Illinois.

The annual golf tournament was renamed in his honor following his death in August 2020.

The tournament will be held Tapawingo National Golf Club at 13001 Gary Player Dr. in Sunset Hills. Registration is at 10 a.m.; lunch is at 11 a.m. and play will begin with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m.

The after party, which will honor Guns ‘N Hoses founding fathers Martorelli, Meryl Taylor and Jerry Clinton for their leadership, is from 5 to 8 p.m. and will include an open bar and appetizers. Tickets are $65 each, and payment is due by April 30.

Sponsorships are still available, and donations are appreciated. Visit backstoppers.org/events/guns-n-hoses-jack-martorelli-memorial-golf-tournament/ for more information.
