In St. Louis, working families celebrated the defeat of Prop A (“right-to-work”) and vowed to fight on for an increase in the state’s minimum wage (Prop B on the Nov. 6 ballot) and improved transparency in state government (Amendment 1, the CLEAN Missouri amendment).

Thousands of union members and working families turned out for this year's Labor Day parades celebrating the unity and strength of Organized Labor in St. Louis, Granite City and Belleville.

We'll have more photos from the parades in the Sept. 20 print edition. Meanwhile, here are a few from each event.
