Changes are coming to the Labor Tribune.
Starting Jan. 1, the paper will have a new look and added content, giving you even more of the working family news that you need.
Up front, the paper will have an updated masthead and a new front page, allowing us to promote more of your news on Page 1. Our column widths and typefaces are also changing to make the paper easier to read.
Some of the other changes will include:
- A “Calendar of Events” for union locals.
- The return of our “Buy, Swap, Sell” column, which will replace the Labor Tribune’s current classifieds listing.
- “In Memoriam” obituary notices and remembrances of union leaders and rank-and-file members who have passed.
And there are more changes on the way.
The Labor Tribune recently completed a readership survey, through which you told us what you like about the paper, what you’d like to see change and how we can serve you better. We will incorporate your ideas and suggestions into our production and coverage over the coming months.
The Labor Tribune strives to be the voice for working families in Missouri and Southern Illinois, keeping you up-to-date on new projects, organizing efforts and legislation affecting working families.
We cannot thank you enough for participating in our survey. Your opinions on what we’re doing right and where we can improve will help us serve you better.
Remember this is your paper. Keep reading!
