Thanks to the efforts of many union volunteers and local contractors, a 100-year-old Pine Lawn home will soon be used to provide transitional housing for women, and the St. Louis Chapter of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) is hosting a fundraiser to purchase a washer and dryer for the house.

The home, which sat vacant for some time, was gifted to Cathy “Momma Cat” Daniels, the founder of PotBangerz – Feed the Body Mission. The non-profit organization’s goal is to uplift the community by meeting nutritional needs and helping unhoused families find permanent housing.

Contributions for the washer and dryer may be made online at paypal.com and sent to cluwstl@gmail.com. Donations may also be mailed to CLUW at P.O. Box 548, St. Louis, MO 63188.
