Comedian featured on HBO, Comedy Central will headline JeffCo Labor Club’s Comedy Night Oct. 19

‘MR. SHOWTIME’ DAVID SCOTT will bring his “My safe word is MORE” tour to the Jefferson County Labor Club’s Oct. 19 Comedy Night, benefitting the Jefferson County Main Event Committee, which raises funds for local charitable foundations.

Imperial, MO – “Mr. Showtime” David Scott will bring his “My safe word is MORE” tour to the Jefferson County Labor Club’s Oct. 19 Comedy Night, benefitting the Jefferson County Main Event Committee, which raises funds for local charitable foundations.

Scott, who has been featured on HBO and Comedy Central, is also host of his own nationally syndicated radio show. His stand-up shows have been described as “sharp-witted, clever, classy and pure energy.”

The event, which begins with cocktails at 6 p.m., will be held at American Legion Post 283, 910 Montebello Road in Imperial. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m., and the comedy show starts at 8 p.m. The evening will include attendance prizes and music before and after the comedy show. Dress is casual.

Since 2007, the Main Event Committee has raised more than $43,350, which has helped fund the Arnold Food Pantry, BackStoppers, Boy Scouts of America, Jefferson County Rescue Mission, Kade’s Playground, MS Society, Peace Pantry, Ride On St. Louis and St. John’s Food Pantry.

TICKETS AND INFORMATION
Suggested ticket donations are $50 per person or $400 for a table of eight. To purchase tickets or to make a donation, make checks payable to the “Main Event” and mail them to Wayne Stanley, #4 Main St., Festus, MO 63028.
