Electrical Connection saves Twin City Little League’s 78th season

Festus – When the Twin City Little League’s ballpark failed a lighting inspection last spring that threatened the night games of its 78th season, IBEW Local 1 journeyman and league patron Jake Hibbits (left) reached out to IBEW Local 1 Business Representative Chuck DeMoulin (right) for help. DeMoulin contacted the Electrical Connection – a partnership between IBEW Local 1 and the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), which promptly answered the call for help by donating services to make the repairs and bring the lighting up to code. Last month, Hibbits joined DeMoulin in hanging banners at all four of the non-profit organization’s fields to celebrate the donation, which allowed more than 400 kids to play ball. – IBEW Local 1 photo
