St. Louis – Angela Donahue (squatting in front), a construction inspector for the Missouri Department of Transportation, has been working on the Poplar Street Bridge improvement project along with a dozen union tradeswomen for weeks now. Donahue, a board member with the Missouri Women in Trades, said as a woman in the construction industry, it’s rare to have even one other female on a job. “I was so thrilled about it, I had to get a picture,” she said.
