Endorses Police Chief Tim Lowery for mayor in November

The Florissant City Council has passed a unanimous resolution endorsing “Vote NO on Prop A,” on the Aug. 7 ballot, and has endorsed Florissant Police Chief Tim Lowery as the city’s next mayor.

Lowery said Florissant has long been a pro-union community that attracts young families, adding that six of the nine-member Council hold union cards.

“We fully endorse a NO vote on Prop A,” said Lowery. “We urge everyone in our community to vote Aug. 7, and let your voice supporting labor be heard.”
