Get to know your Labor-endorsed union member candidates

Campaign season is well underway for Missouri’s April 5 Primary Election for local municipalities, school boards, service districts and bond issues. These are the positions that directly impact union members where they live and work.

The St. Louis Labor Council announced its candidate and proposition endorsements on Feb. 15. You can get to know two of the Labor-endorsed union member candidates at the following forum and meet & greet events.

Feb. 24 – Meet & Greet Mark Johnson, former president of CWA 6300, and COPE-endorsed candidate for Dardenne Prairie Alderman, Ward 3, from 6-9 p.m. at Town Square Pub N Grub, 7843 Town Square Ave. Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368. Feb. 24 – Meet Fox C-6 school board candidate Fox C-6 Tara Hagin, UFCW Local 655 organizer and endorsed candidate of the St. Louis Labor Council and Missouri NEA, at the Fox Community Teachers Association (CTA) Board of Education Candidate Forum from 6-8:30 p.m. at  Roy Wilde Conference Center, 849 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. The event is open to Fox C-6 Staff and the community and live-streamed on the Fox C-6 CTA YouTube page.
