Girls learn about construction careers from female mentors at Clayco

INSPIRING MINDS – About 40 local girls had the opportunity to explore career opportunities in the construction industry – a traditionally male-dominated field – thanks to a group of female mentors at Clayco, a full-service construction firm that employs skilled union members. Clayco’s Network of Women (NOW) group hosted its Second Annual Bring a Girl to Clayco Day at its St. Louis office on April 20. The group invited daughters, granddaughters, nieces and cousins of the Clayco team for a tour of the company and provided interactive presentations from each department to inspire the young women. – Clayco photo
