Glaziers Local 513 raises more than $10,000 for St. Louis Crisis Nursery

Glaziers Local 513 recently presented the St. Louis Crisis Nursery with a check for $10,9696.45, proceeds from its charity golf tournament on Aug. 27 at Florissant Golf Club. Presenting the check to Crisis Nursery Director Jane Beckman (center, behind the check) were (to the left) Glaziers Field Representative/Organizer John Deeken and (to the right) Glaziers Business Representative Curt Kimbrell.

Beckman excitedly expressed how much the donation will help the St. Louis Crisis Nursery provide a short-term, safe haven for the nearly 5,000 children a year, birth through age 12, whose families face emergencies caused by illness, homelessness, domestic violence or overwhelming parental stress. “We are so thankful to all participants who helped with making this a very successful event,” Kimbrell said. – Glaziers 513 photo
