Holland Law Firm Founder and President Eric Holland has recently been selected to serve on the Executive Committee for The National Trial Lawyers.

The National Trial Lawyers (NTL) is a professional organization composed of the premier trial lawyers from across the country who exemplify superior qualifications as civil plaintiff or criminal defense trial lawyers. This national organization provides networking opportunities, advocacy training, and the highest quality educational programs for trial lawyers. Each of NTL’s distinguished members possesses the knowledge, skill, experience, and success held by only the best and finest lawyers in America.  By combining resources, power, and influence, The National Trial Lawyers is devoted to preserving and protecting justice for all.

NTL’s Executive Committee is comprised of the best-of-the-best of the country’s trial lawyers who serve by invitation only. Holland’s appointment to the Executive Committee makes him one of just three Missouri-based lawyers to serve NTL in this capacity. “I am honored to be selected to serve this great national organization of lawyers who fight for justice every day for their clients,” said Holland.

Eric Holland and his team at the Holland Law Firm have consistently handled and tried the largest and most important civil cases in the country, achieving record-setting verdicts and settlements in courtrooms in St. Louis and across the country. Eric’s litigation results are not only measured in the billions of dollars recovered for clients but also in measurable societal good like getting unsafe firearms off the streets, triggering governmental investigations, and fighting against court secrecy. His work has been featured in Reuters, Bloomberg, the New York Times, NPR, CBS, the L.A. Times, and CNBC, to name just a few, and he has been described to the media as a “legal mastermind” by his corporate opponents.

Eric’s record-setting wins include several ground-breaking results:

  • $4.69 billion-dollar verdict for 22 cancer victims, proving for the first time that there is asbestos in talc and that asbestos causes ovarian cancer.
  • Co-lead counsel in the landmark settlement of the long-running Remington Walker Fire Control litigation that provides replacement triggers for defective rifles
  • First eight-figure FELA jury verdict in United States history ($17,000,000 in 2005).
