IBEW 1 lends a hand to ‘Fill Up the Pickup’

FEEDING THE HUNGRY: IBEW Local 1 Vice President Frankie Valleroy (in the truck) and Business Representative Chuck DeMoulin help unload food collected by the union for the Fill Up the Pickup Challenge, benefiting the St. Louis Area Food Bank. Valleroy and DeMoulin dropped off the donation on Sept. 11 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro. The Fill Up the Pickup Challenge began in 2020 with a small group of residents who wanted to help families facing food insecurities during the pandemic.
