IBEW Local 1 bannering Sinclair Buick/GMC

Sunset Hills, MO – IBEW Local 1 is bannering Dave Sinclair Buick GMC at 5655 S. Lindbergh Blvd., for using Reinhold Electric, a non-AFL-CIO affiliated company that pays below area standard wages and benefits negotiated by Local 1 for work at the dealership. The dealership is run by one of the sons of founder Dave Sinclair, who was an ardent union supporter. As one union member, a long-time customer of Sinclair’s remarked, “Dave Sinclair is turning over in his grave.” Taking the message to the public are (from left) Frankie Sheppard and Ben Peniston.
