Pevely, MO – IBEW Local 1 is asking the public not to patronize the Burger King at 1652 Highway Z because the company’s general contractor, MidAmerican Hotel Construction, is using Bates Electric, a non-union contractor that pays its employees less than the area’s standard wages and benefits negotiated by Local 1.
