IBEW Locals 1 and 309 call for boycott of Rexel Supply

Edwardsville, IL – IBEW Locals 1 and 309 are urging a boycott of Rexel Supply, bannering a store Monday, May 5, at 4792 Signature Industrial Dr., and urging union members and the general public not to patronize the electrical supply house over Rexel’s efforts to take away protections from their employees.

Local 1 and Rexel have been in contract negotiations for nearly seven months, but Rexel is trying to make its new contract mirror the contract they have with their non-union affiliates.

IBEW represented employees work hard for the company and deserve decent wages and benefits and fair terms and conditions of employment.

This is the second month of the boycott and bannering effort. Local 1 bannered a Missouri store at 2001 Innerbelt Business Center Drive in Overland last month.
