IN MEMORIAM: IBEW Local 1439’s Bill Miller, Jr.

William “Bill” Mansfield Miller, Jr., a member of IBEW Local 1439, passed away Oct. 5 at the age of 70.

Brother Miller was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt and go camping. He was also an avid Harley Davidson fan who enjoyed riding his motorcycle many places including Mount Rushmore, Sturgis, California and Colorado just to name a few of his travels.

Brother Miller was a big St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was a devoted family man and a wonderful husband for 43 years to Leta and a cherished father to Melissa and Nathan. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Brother Miller was the beloved husband of Leta Miller; cherished son of the late William Mansfield Miller Sr. and the late Dorothy Ellen Miller; devoted father of Melissa (Jeffrey) Miller-Bedel and Nathan Miller; loving grandfather of Lola-Joan Bedel and Robert J. Bedel; dear brother of Mary Ellen Miller; beloved nephew, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A memorial service was held Oct. 15 at Baue O’Fallon, 311 Wood Street, 63366

Memorial donations may be made in Brother Miller’s name to American Heart Association.
