Charles A. Peniston, journeyman wireman and proud member of IBEW Local 1 for 59 years (retired), died Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
Brother Peniston was the beloved husband of Joyce Peniston (nee Thien) for 56 years; dearest father of Maria Lynn (Chip) Karas, Robbin (Paul) Singleton and the late Steven and Michael Peniston; loving grandfather of Justin and Kyle Peniston, and Morgan and Audrey Karas; a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.
A Memorial Mass will be held this Saturday, July 27 at 11 a.m. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 4980 Heege Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123, with luncheon immediately following at Teamsters Local 682 hall, 5730 Elizabeth Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Animal Protective Association of St. Louis.
