Jeffrey “Jeff” Maichin, 48, of Troy, MO a 23-year member of Iron Workers Local 396 passed away on January 3, 2017 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Brother Maichin is survived by his beloved wife Ashley; two children; Logen McMenamy and Abriel Schwer, his parents; Raymond and Shirley Maichin of Troy, one brother: Mike and wife Stephanie Maichin of Troy, grandparents; Oliver Zieman of Elsberry, his in-laws; Debbie and husband Allen Reece of Troy, Jerry and wife Nancy Schwer of Moscow Mills ,his brother and sister in-laws; Glenda and Armando Molina of Moscow Mills, Glen Reece of Troy, Kristen Horst of Troy, Nick and wife Dede Franklin of Lake of the Ozarks, Courtney and husband Matt Housewright of Troy and many other relatives and friends.
Brother Maichin enjoyed MOPAR’s, working on his 1979 Dodge Aspen and 1999 Dodge Dakota and spending time with his family on their property at Wildwood, fishing, hunting, riding ATVs.
A funeral service was held Jan. 7 at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379. Memorials are requested to the Maichin family c/o the funeral home.
