IN MEMORIAM: Laborers Local 110’s Robert Sprinkle

Robert “Bob” Eugene Sprinkle, a 43-year member of Laborers Local 110, passed away Feb. 26 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. He was 75.

Brother Sprinkle, of Bloomsdale, worked as a hod carrier for Leonard Masonry. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to shooting matches and animal auctions.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lynn (Brown) Sprinkle, of Bloomsdale, his stepson, Timothy Patrick Brown, of Bloomsdale, his two daughters, Gina (Jimmy) Sprinkle- Parker, of South St. Louis, and Donna Sprinkle, of Cedar Hill, his sister-in-law, Nancy Sprinkle, of Arkansas, his three brothers, Darrell (Dot) Sprinkle, of Lake Saint Louis, Steve (Kathy) Sprinkle, of Fenton, and Larry (Karen) Sprinkle, of Dittmer; his two sisters, Patsy Buxton, of Desloge, and Sharon Hayes, of Desloge; his four grandchildren, Danielle Beck, Blake Chiodini, Lily Rose Parker and Jacob Parker; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by father, Lawrence Sprinkle, mother, Gertrude (Jones) Sprinkle, stepson, Michael Chiodini, brother, Ed Sprinkle, and sister, Linda Colburn.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel in  Festus. Service information will be released at a later date.
