Jerry Donovan, retired business manager, Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers Local 1, passed away Jan. 5, 2022 after suffering a heart attack.
Brother Donovan is survived by his wife Deni Donovan; sons, Jake and Danny Donovan; and brother Rick (Sheila Bichsel) Donovan. He was a loving cousin, uncle and wonderful friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry Sr. and Jane Donovan.
Brother Donovan loved his family and was always happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends. He was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, formally known as St. Jerome.
A proud Union man, Brother Donovan belonged to Local 1 for more than 30 years. Some of his favorite pastimes included playing softball, soccer, and golfing with the Sunshine Boys. He was a member of the Ramsdale Athletic Club and Keno Club.
Brother Donovan had a great sense of humor and could make just about anyone laugh with his quick wit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a funeral service, at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Cottleville, 1355 Motherhead Rd., Cottleville, MO 63304
