The Labor Movement mourns the loss of the following union members.

IBEW LOCAL 1

• Anthony J. Bommarito, journeyman wireman, 53 years with the union, passed away Feb. 5, 2021.
• Russell F. Lay, commercial maintenance, 69 years with the union, passed away Jan. 21, 2021.
• Ronnie D. Lohmann, journeyman wireman-retired, 59 years with the union, passed away Feb. 6, 2021.
• Rex R. Morris, journeyman wireman, 33 years with the union, passed away Jan. 24, 2021.
• David E. Simpson, communication-retired, 45 years with the union, passed away Jan. 27, 2021.

LABORERS LOCAL 110

• Donald Wagner, 38-year member passed away from mad cow disease on Feb. 10, 2021. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
• Jean Watts, 59-year member and 40-year employee of Bussen Quarry, passed away from contracting COVID-19 in his nursing home. A visitation is planned Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. to noon, with funeral service immediately following at Hoffmeister Funeral Home South County Chapel. Donation may be made in Brother Watts’ name to the Humane Society of Missouri.
