Iron Workers Local 396 Retiree’s enjoyed their quarterly “Boy’s Day Out” luncheon wrapping presents collected in their Christmas Toy Drive for 2019. Cash donations and new toys were collected from the end of September through Dec. 3. All of the retirees were asked to donate a new unwrapped toy or give a donation to purchase a for donation to Missouri Baptist Hospital and the Salvation Army. This year’s effort was extremely successful. The annual collection doesn’t just happen by itself. Brother retirees Mike Penrod, Vince Pinon, Keith Williams, Dan Harty, and Dave Hathcock all put in the extra effort to make sure this event comes together each year and that the purchasing and delivery of toys are completed in time in time to make a less fortunate child’s Christmas a happy one. – Iron Workers Local 396 photo
