Local UnionsIron Workers Local 396 Iron Workers Local 396 retiree’s daughter awarded $10,000 Godfrey Padberg Scholarship September 16, 2019 0 1002 THE 2019 GODFREY PADBERG SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, donated by the Padberg, Corrigan & Appelbaum Law Firm to children of Iron Workers Local 396 members, was awarded to Rhiannon Landing-Fultz, the daughter of Joe and Vickie Fultz. Joe is retired journeyman member of Local 396. Rhiannon is the seventeenth recipient of the Padberg Scholarship, which was established in 2003 by the Padberg, Corrigan and Appelbaum law firm in memory of Matt Padberg’s father and founder of the law firm Godfrey Padberg. Each year members children submit an application along with an essay setting forth the applicant’s needs and merits for the scholarship in hopes of being chosen for the $10,000 award. Rhiannon will be graduating from St. Louis University in May of 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in finance. This past summer she served an internship with Stifel Nicolaus & Company in their compliance department with the securities registration team. She is presently working for Stifel part-time while finishing her degree and plans to join the firm full-time upon her graduation, while pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.
