IUOE 513 recognizes Fabick CAT on 100 years in business, decades of partnership as a signatory contractor

Fenton, MO – Operating Engineers Local 513 is recognizing Fabick CAT Caterpillar dealership for 100 years in business and decades of partnership as a signatory contractor with Local 513.

Local 513 President and Business Manager Tim Sappington and business agents Steve Straatman and Gary Howard presented Fabick’s Senior Vice President Jon Fabick IV with a plaque during a recent ceremony at Fabick’s headquarters in Fenton.

“Local 513 Operating Engineers would like to congratulate Fabick CAT on your 100th anniversary and show our appreciation for affording many of our members the opportunity to have a fair wage and benefits like health insurance and pensions so they can one day retire with dignity,” Sappington said.

“We have appreciated the opportunity to work with them in the past, present and future to the betterment of our members, our trade and our communities,” Sappington said.

Fabick CAT is a family-owned business that rents, sells and services Caterpillar equipment, engines and generators.

The company marked it’s 100th anniversary by donating $100,000 to six local non-profit organizations.

The company presented checks to SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, the St. Louis Police Foundation, the Missouri Association of State Troopers Emergency Relief Society, the Boy Scouts of Greater St. Louis, Wings of Hope, and Segs4Vets.
