Labor allies show up to support Ryder warehouse workers seeking Teamster 688 representation

Hazelwood, MO – Standing in solidarity, 13 union members and Labor allies showed up during shift change Sept. 14 at the Ryder warehouse here at 1575 Tradeport Drive to support workers who were taking part in a union authorization vote to join Teamsters Local 688. That same day, ballots were mailed to the company’s 110 employees. Local 688 Organizer Mike Marquardt thanked the group for its support in showing that there is a community to back the workers in their bid to go from a company handbook to a contract that both sides will agree on and sign.
