Labor and friends support UFCW 655’s Trupiano for St. Peters 4th Ward Alderman

St. Peters, MO – Nick Trupiano, a 24-year union representative with United Food and Commercial Workers Local 655, gathered with supporters recently for a fundraiser at DeRienzo’s Pizza & Pub to get the word out about his candidacy for St. Peters 4th Ward Aldermen in the April 2 municipal election.

Trupiano is running for an open seat on the board.

A 44-year member of Local 655, Trupiano served as political director and director of organizing before retiring retired in 2017. He also served as a delegate to the St. Louis Labor Council and as a member of the St. Louis Port Council.

As a longtime union member, Trupiano has a deep personal understanding of the needs of working families and how those needs intersect with local, state and national politics.

His campaign for alderman is endorsed by St. Peters Mayor Len Pagano and a majority of the current Board of Aldermen.
