All union members are encouraged to attend the Missouri Building Trades Council’s Labor Day and Rally March 30 in Jefferson City.

Members should plan to arrive at the State Capitol between 9 and 10 a.m. to have time to talk with their local legislators, then gather on the Capitol law at 12 p.m. for the rally.

Workers are under attack in Jefferson City from paycheck deception, attacks on prevailing wage and the looming threat of right-to-work. This is your chance to be heard.

Members should contact their union local with any questions or visit facebook.com/buildmo.

MO ARA SPONSORING BUS

The Missouri Alliance for Retired Americans is sponsoring a bus to take union members to the rally.

Arnold PrintingThe bus will leave the Machinists Hall at 12365 St Charles Rock Rd., in Bridgeton, MO. at 8 a.m. on the day of the rally. This should put union member retirees in Jefferson City about 10 a.m., so they’ll have time to talk with their legislators before the rally at noon on the Capitol lawn.

The cost is $20 per person.

If you can’t make the ride, please consider making a donation to help offset costs. Checks should be made payable to Missouri ARA, 3301 Hollenberg Dr., Bridgeton, MO 63044.

For more information, contact Dave Meinell President of the Missouri Alliance for Retired Americans at 314-604-1316.
