Labor trafficking of U.S minors will be the topic of the next Labor Law Series on Thursday, Feb. 11. The free event will be held via Zoom due to the pandemic.
Participants will gain insight on the populations most impacted, vulnerabilities and trends among trafficker techniques and industries. The webinar will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.
The series partnering with Framework and Laura Murphy for the event. She is a renowned researcher and professor of Human Rights and Contemporary Slavery at the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice at Sheffield Hallam University.
The Labor Law Series is sponsored by the University of Missouri Extension’s Labor Education Program. Each month St. Louis and Kansas City alternates hosting a labor law event. All registration costs have been waived because of the pandemic.
