In an effort to get more shots into arms and to keep members and their families safe, the St. Louis Laborers Benefits Office is hosting COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

The first clinic took place May 16 at the Laborers Local 110 union hall in Sunset Hills. The second clinic took place June 6 at the Laborers Local 42 union hall in St. Louis.

A third clinic will take place at the Local 110 hall at 4532 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Sunset Hills on Sunday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to noon. The second dose of the Moderna vaccine and the Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be available. RSVPs are required by June 10.

All members, their spouses and adult children were able to get their first or second doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

As an incentive, laborers covered under the union’s benefit plan were given $100 Visa gift cards if they received their second shots or if they got the the one-time Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

The vaccines are available to all members, spouses and adult children, and members don’t have to be insured. However, members must be covered under the union’s benefit plan and fully vaccinated at one of the events to be eligible for the gift card.

To RSVP, call the benefit office at 314-644-2777.
