Laborers Local 110 Secretary-Treasurer Steve MacDonald has retired, resulting in some position changes within the union’s executive board.

McDonald, who joined Local 110 36 years ago, served as a business agent for over 15 years and had served as secretary-treasurer for five years.

‘BEEN A PLEASURE SERVING’
“I want to thank Local 110 for giving me this opportunity,” MacDonald said. “It’s been a pleasure serving our union’s members and working with our team of professionals.”

Local 110 Business Manager Jose R. Gomez wished MacDonald well.

‘GREAT TEAM IN PLACE’
“I’d like to thank Steve for his service and wish him the best in his retirement,” Gomez said. “I’m confident we have a great team in place moving forward.”

MacDonald’s retirement has led to the following changes:

  • Rob Reed, a Local 110 business agent, has been appointed to replace McDonald. Reed began his career with the Laborers in 1999, became a business agent seven years ago and has served on the union’s executive board for 12 years. He has served as president of the local since 2021.
  • Mark Bielicke, a Local 110 business agent who had served as the local’s recording secretary, will replace Reed as president. He spent 25 years in the field before becoming a business agent in 2019.
  • Adam Kreienheder, a Local 110 business agent, will replace Bielicke as recording secretary. He has been a member of Local 110 since 2001 and has been a business agent since 2022.
  • Brad Wilfong, a Local 110 business agent, will continue in his role as vice president. He joined Local 110 over 21 years ago and became a business agent in 2021.
