Laborers Local 42 supports member’s urban scholarship program

LABORERS LOCAL 42 President/Asst. Business Manager Richard McLaughlin (right) recently presented George Love, a Local 42 custodian and steward at Yeatman Middle School, with a $500 donation to support Love’s not-for-profit organization called Prepared: The Gateway to the Northwest. Its High Five Scholarship Program, which began in 2017, awards $500 scholarships to disadvantaged high school students in the St. Louis Public School District.
