LERA Gateway Chapter to offer 2018 Legal Update

Each year brings legislative changes and new court and National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) decisions that impact the workplace and collective bargaining.

To make sure you’re up-to-date on the latest legal changes and trends, the Labor & Employment Relations Association (LERA) Gateway Chapter is offering a 2018 Legal Update program on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The event will be held at the IBEW Local 1439 Union Hall at 2121 59th St. in St. Louis. Breakfast and registration begins at 7:45 a.m., and the program runs from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m.

Topics to be discussed include social media and so-called “right-to-work and attendees are encouraged to bring their own questions.

Guest speakers are NLRB Regional Director Pete Perez and Field Attorney Rochelle Balentine and attorneys Janine Martin, Hammond & Shinners, P.C., and Bob Stewart, Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C.


The program is free for LERA patrons and co-sponsor members and $50 for LERA individual and non-members.
