LERA to provide arbitration update June 6

Registration deadline is May 30

The Labor and Employment Relations Association (LERA) Gateway Chapter will offer its popular arbitration program called “Arbitration 2018: The good, the bad and the ugly” on Wednesday, June 6.

The event, begins at 7:45 a.m. with breakfast and registration, followed by the program which is from 8:05 to 11:45 a.m. It will be held at the Operating Engineers Local 148 Union Hall, 11000 Lin Valle Drive, in St. Louis County.

The program will start with a “View from the trenches: An advocate’s perspective,” and arbitrator-led presentations on the following subjects: Seniority Matters, Past Practice, and Just Cause.

Panelists include: Michael A. Evans, J.D., Hartnett Gladney Hetterman; Daniel G. Fritz, J.D., McMahon Berger; James E. Mesnier, J.D., arbitrator; James P. O’Grady, Ph.D., arbitrator/National Academy of Arbitrators; and Richard C. Reuben, J.S.D., arbitrator/University of Missouri-Columbia.
