New business manager for IBEW 649

Alton, Ill.  – With the retirement of veteran business manager Jack Tueth, Union Solidarity continues at IBEW Local 649 with the election of new Business Manager Charlie Yancey (center) along with Assistant Business Manager Terry Shewmake (at right) and Organizer Alan Rubenstein (at left). Several hundred people turned out at Tueth’s retirement gathering several weeks ago at the union hall here. “The union’s in good leadership hands with Charlie, Terry and Alan,” Tueth said.
