New support group formed for LGBTQIA+ building trades members, allies

A new support group for St. Louis-area building trades workers who identify as LQBTQIA+ has been created to provide members with the opportunity to discuss work-related issues in a safe environment.

The group’s first meeting will be held Thursday, May 20 at 4 p.m. at Tower Grove Park near MoKaBe’s Coffee House in St. Louis. Participants are encouraged to bring chairs and pop-up pavilions, if available, in case of rain.

LQBTQIA+ building trades men and women and allies may attend the meeting or join the group. Meetings will be informal. Future meeting times and locations for the group will be discussed at the meeting.
